I don't know whether I have rights to write like this about media or not, but just took a chance..
Of course I am not against media, coz i wanted to be a journalist some time back in childhood...
This is just an incident happened today in auto, I asked the auto wala to take me to REC..
There was already a decent man sitting in there, he was asking me some questions and after that he mentioned,
what's going on in the college? It was not like this before...
Then I just gave a sharp answer that Media was not like this before...
He just gave a look and turned to his side..
I don't know why I dragged media in between, may be because I don't like people pointing out my college..
Then I started thinking, NITW is not all that's shown in TV..
There are people STILL,who don't even know that this is the college of national importance and pride..
They keep on asking (recent one in train in october) "Oh!! you didn't get a seat in nearby college in your city!!"
And they point out my college for some issues recently going on and listening them on TV???
Why isn't Media trying to bring the best part out present in the college??
The strength that joined in my batch was double than its previous year, but the placements are going on very good..New faculty being admitted..A strong student-administration body, New and big hostels, Labs costing lakhs and crores..
I don't blame media for showing to this world only the negative, because it helps in constant improvement but it should not be in such a way that it increases fear among people to join their children here..
There are great entrepreneurs, managers, writers, leaders from this college.. Why aint they still uncovered??
OH!! are all busy searching negatives??
OK go onn....
No one z gonna stop us to stand out in a group, come up as a great, proud engineer to contribute to this nation..No onez gonna match with our intelligence, stamina, courage, ability to take in pressure and temper.. We are gonna come out so strong no one could ever imagine.. :)
Then don't be afraid to write on us...

Its because people are not aware, i dont blame them, coz it is not their mistake, im in NIT now, which i got to know about after 10th, so what i want to convey frm this post is media which is a major publicity tool, should show people what is what..
